I never thought I’d see the day where it happened
The world should just look away in shame
They always make it sound like love makes the world go round
But they know that it’s already expired
So why do they keep trying to look for me?
This world is filled with so many liars that it’s simply unreal
But nobody cares that most of them get into power
And people only care if they take away their rights
Or if they take away something that they either need or want
That’s what the world is always like
I’m surprised that it took this long to see the truth
That the feeling love has expired by the time you’re in your teens
You think that you know what love feels like
But only because you’re getting what you want
And most of the time all you simply want is to have sex

I bet that a lot of fathers are worried about their daughters these days
Since rape is so popular amongst the greedy bastards out there
They’re already terrified as it is
Thinking that some scum will try to attack them at night
Empty to the world outside
You merely stare into the mirror and wonder what you’ve done

You got it straight on the head. Love is gone sometimes, and the world is just full of players and people who think they love you only to change their mind within a week. Sometimes they leave you for someone that is just going to hurt them, and that hurts to the person that loves them. This is just a good way of saying what has happened to love and when did lust take its place
